Most of the statistical technique allows a limited number of variables those are not appropriate to analyze and understand complicated theories and social phenomena. This is true for simple bivariate correlation analysis. Compare to other statistical techniques, structural equation modeling allows the researcher to investigate the complex phenomena through statistical modeling and testing of hypothesis. In case of most of the statistical techniques, importance is given to the validity and reliability of data obtained through research instruments. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) take data measurement error into account explicitly in case of data analysis. Now a days the SEM software programs are user friendly and easy to use having familiar software features.

It would be better, if anyone discuss the weaknesses of Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) as a quantitative analytical technique.

Thank you so much.
