Dear Singh, i am not an expert in the area but Andras just answered the only logical and knowned information about the topic: not only the lilmits are very different in different countries but also the list of permitted pesticides it is different.
The permissible level of pesticides vary from one another but this depends on the rate of decomposition by active population of soil microbes , the soil types[ clay ,sand ,silt and humus contents] and the rate of leaching into underground waters..besides the pesticides mentioned such as aldrin .malathion are banned and are no longer in use
