I am doing an analysis about the tourism and government approach to mitigate the issues relating to COVID 19 pandemic. There I am trying to do a comparative analysis with other South Asian countries and Sri Lanka. If any one can mention any successful or failed approaches taken by your governments in this scenario, It could b helpful for my analysis.
Travel restrictions have limited the return of Tourism industry to normalcy.
Implementing movement control order (MCO) in a specific area which has several infected cases and encouraging to visit local tourism destination and emphasizing on enjoying the local services and products.

In Goa, India, some of the state government's approach to play safe during Covid-19 are:
1) Restrictions on international air travel.
2) To operate casinos and clubs with 50% occupancy.
3) Accommodation booking before arrival was made mandatory which was not the case earlier.
In indonesia, government approach by :
1. Implement Clean, Health, Sanitise, Environment Protocol (CHSE) : socialised and certified for Tourism Industry
2. Support the tourism industry for stand at suffer by substitute for tax and for person who working at tourism site
3. Support for domestic tourist with the protocols
4. Restriction to outbound tour for a while
5. support for rural tourism, rural villages for tourist attraction booming
