I am trying to conducted an analysis of the electrical parameters in grid lines and smart grids. I am using a Pico Log to sense the data and input them into the computer. What tools could i use to analyse the data I obtain?

I think Matlab & Simulink are powerful tools for simulating and analyzing electrical systems. They are widely used within the academic community.
Your question is not complete. What are the parameters? What do you want to do in the analysis. What are the variables in your data. Though matlab and Simulink can be used for the data analysis and systems identification but you should know the exact problem.
MATLAB can do the job in most cases. PSCAD and Power World are other powerful tools for electrical parameters in grid lines.
