I am going for PBF (SLM/EBM) for thermometallurgical mechanical condition (i.e parameters will include scan strategy, beam power, material dimensions, layer thickness, powder used etc.). You can try the ANSYS Additive Print or Additive Suite. Both software can predict/simulate the print outcome for metal printing.

Another software is SimuFact Additive for powder bed fusion AM.

The best choice is Ansys using APDL. Inaddition, Abaqus, Comsol Multiphysics and Simufact are other available options.

Netfabb simulation utility can be used for thermo-mechanical simulation of both PBF and DED. It is a paid and licensed software product from Autodesk.
