All the religions were made for ultimate benefit of the people. People gathered under the umbrella of religion with a promise to follow the rules and values set by the prophet/s.In most of the cases, these are written in some holy books.
But it is seen in almost all the religions that people following same religion divided themselves in separate groups and followers of each group trust they are correct and other group/s are fraud.
Then the groups start fighting with each other to establish their notion.
Do you think it is due to some intrinsic
Character of human being to create small groups or the tendency of not to tolerate dominance of others?
Or it may happen as a result of activities of some power hungry

Human beings are very complex, unpredictable and like causing chaos. They are absolutely greedy for material wealth. They like "California gold" (surface gold, where they dig small and get plenty with no or small sweat). They like (we) WIN (you) LOSE approach to small issue. One group is always right, while the other opposing group is always wrong! The conflict amplifies. The tension intensifies. Sometimes they want to test their might and superiority. Human being is an error!
The consequences have been great and grave as it's evident across the globe. Human being naturally is self-centered but hide under the cover of religion to carry out dastardly acts against fellow human beings!
We can going on with the list!
Power center and financial activities are mainly responsible.
Every one wants to get dominant position and use devoted money as per his thinking.
None of religion will make free hospital or school without fee but instead they will make these religions places bigger and posh.
This is not a good thing.
The biggest problem especially in India is that priests mostly pose as GURU whereas their prime work is to create awareness and preach the ideology of concerned religion.
When they pose as BHAGWAN, rivals too counteract and ultimately instead of rise,downfall in a particular religion takes place.
Ignorance and some leaders exploiting religion to promote their own agendas.
The main reasons are the conflict or convergence of bilateral religion and politics.
The reasons of intra-religion conflicts are due to contrasting interests of inter-group within the religion.
Selfishness and misunderstanding of the actual context of the religion.
The intra-religion conflict is as a result of misinterpretations of the teachings of the religions by some individuals to follow their personal interests (financial, fame) and their beliefs.

Many findings show that while the primary causes of ethnic conflict are non‐religious ethnic issues, the majority of ethnic conflicts involve religious issues. Religion can cause ethnic conflicts when the religious beliefs of an ethnic group are threatened by another group or when religious laws are believed to call for conflictive action. Religion can become involved in ethnic conflicts that have secular causes through the use of religious institutions and legitimacy in the conflict. Occasionally, this involvement of religion can transform a secular conflict into a religious one.
Clearly, all this increased the feeling of vulnerability in the world.
Intolerance and having no value for life (starting with one's life)

All religion have one or another way in different of opinion also so to say Intra conflict . Every religion their verdict ,sermons are the creator of their divine master & who so ever are managing the affair of the religion all their spiritual place for prayer should not go against the norms created by divine & as such any Intra conflict is not desirable & in certain respect this should not be pardon as any religion person who are managing the affair of such institutes of should take a timely & effectively steps so as to avoid the feeling of devotees who are visiting such holy places .
It is internal politics ego of person come in the way of such conflict disturbing the holy environment in the mind of devotees . It is desirable that who so ever may be the spiritual dignitary & if he is also in one or another way a responsible for such conflict without any sentiments of the organization of the place or responsible person managing the affair of the religion & relative spiritual place they should take timely steps without undergoing the sentiment of the religion as ultimately it is the religion which remains the holy place for the devotees .

Religious organizations are a rich source of peace services. They can function as a powerful warrant for social tolerance for democratic pluralism and for constructive conflict-management. They are peace-builders and peace-makers. Such intra-religious conflicts can motivate religious elites to search for support from political allies to prevail over their religious rivals. In return they legitimize their political patrons’ claims for political power and their violent campaigns against members of other religious communities. Thus, intra-religious conflicts can effectively contribute to the religious escalation of intrastate wars between different religious communities. Religion becomes involved in social, political, and religious activism and the conditions under which groups use violence to further their goals. But, Religions have a major responsibility in creating a constructive conflict culture.

I have been to Thailand, Singapore and attended conferences in Malaysia and South Korea.
