What are the proven/effective method(s) of overcoming seed dormancy in African star apple (Chrysophyllum albidum)?

Dormancy is a problem in crop seeds like African/ white star apple and appropriate method(s) for overcoming this should be identified and recommended. This is necessary because this crop has been proven to be useful for medical purposes like: treatment of diabetes, heart diseases and some infections.
