I tend to plot up my logs in Adobe Illustrator. I have kept many of my old logs as a template document which saves rebuilding the fills and images of the sedimentary structures. I would be happy to share these.

I have also used Digitcore software, good for depth shifts, quite straightforward but the images appear a little heavy and clunky; AppleCORE (may no longer be supported), which was designed by a geologist. I heard that LithoHero is also quite good.
