What are the proper protocols for larvae counting. When is the right time to count larvae mortality after it hatched in our solution, how many days old must the larvae be so we can start larvae counting?
Hi John,
(1) Stir tank to evenly distribute the fish and take multiple subsamples in a small, known volume. Multiple by the total volume of your tank.
(2) Commercial larval fish counters are available to buy or rent (e.g., http://jensorter.com).
My wife went to Philippines Science. What are you doing for your project? What species are you working on?
We're working on mosquito larvae sir
