In our institution, the most frequently NSAIDs used are a combination of dexketoprofen trometamol (50 mg) plus acetaminophen (1g) by the intravenous route, three times per day, for the first 48 hours.

There are none in my experience. They will all be inadequate to give the pain relief the patient desires.

For our Max fac outpatients we we use 40mg of parecxib IV once immediately post op followed by Ibuprofen 600mg per os 4 times per day. In most cases this is  sufficient.
