Many professionals, consultants, academics and business leaders have argued that a well-managed, diverse workforce holds the potential competitive advantages for any organizations.......how about LGBTs are accepted into the current workforce?
In the United States, you cannot discriminate against a person of the LGBTQ community solely because they are LGBTQ. The best thing I would advise everyone to do, is keep their sexuality to themselves and do your job. I do not want to talk about anyone's sexuality to include my own in the workplace. They have the right to work as much as anyone else.
Dear Laverne, agreed that no discrimination and equality should be preserved. Meanwhile, it also depends on the government laws and policies in different countries.
I th8nk no "normal" country today will have the laws discriminating LGBT population. However, there are numerous unwritten rules that make their life difficult. I agree with Laverne A. Davis that is ia a totally private matter.
Law Chong Seng I do understand that countries vary when it comes to LGBTQ but since when does laws stop people from being LGBTQ?
I am one that believe that live your life as you see fit but keep your sexual preference or lifestyle out of the workplace. It should be no one's business and no one should ever be made uncomfortable with such a private matter.
If a person decides to discuss their lifestyle in the workplace then whatever consequences they have to deal with is between them and the leadership.
