Can you please tell me the ways to measure differential pressures across utility sides of the heat exchangers.
Unlike process side, the utility side pressure drops may not be measured. What can be done in such cases ? Are there indirect ways to measure it?

If I understood your question correctly, simply put pressure sensors at the inlet and at the outlet of your device, the difference between them would be the pressure drop across the channel or pipe etc. If you are asking about any correlation between the pressure drop values of the process and utility fluids, I believe there is no correlations between them.
Heat exchangers are equipment used for transfer of heat.
Heat transfer can be done by using radiation,convention and conduction.
when any fluid or others passes through the heat exchanger its pressure drops.

I am aware of the differential pressure sensors. However, I wanted to know what usually people do when there are no pre-existing sensors.
As fluid passes through the exchanger its pressure will drop and can be determined using berrgs brill correlation.

the indirect way to find the pressure drop is by using the friction factor "f" correlation that is specified for the device or heat exchanger that you are testing.

It's a bit unusual that a variable of interest cannot be measured, one wonders how else it can be determined. Can you perhaps use mathematical modelling such as Laplace etc..?
Whenever I needed to know individual pressure drops in a commercial unit I would do a single gauge survey at all of the available locations of interest.
