To the best of my knowledge, there are no serial applications of plasma ignition systems. Unless you consider a conventional spark plug a plasma ignition system.

Dear Johannes Schaller, I agree with you that a plasma spark plug may look similar to a conventional spark plug, but they are clearly different inside (in technological advances). Unlike the conventional spark plug that dissipates and wastes energy via a resistor, the plasma spark plug has a capacitor in the core that stores energy from the ignition coil. The energy stored in the capacitor (electrostatic field) is released in a quick and powerful burst, producing a huge amount of peak power which forms an energy-dense and ion-rich plasma field.

He is not looking for applications of stationary large engines or natural-gas-operated engines. (Neither for coils that claim to be "plasma").
