I want to synthesis a Hexa ferrite complex for electromagnetic shielding application. What are the parameters should I keep in mind. Example: permeability value in between 2 GHz to 18 GHz.
Is there other parameters which will allow me to pinpoint my material?
Any good material on the above topic will be very helpful

For best EM shielding material attenuation coefficient should be very less. In ideal case attenuation should be zero. Di-magnetic composites are having good possibility for shielding.application. Framework materials having di-magnetic elements can successfully trap the electric as well as magnetic field. cage like shape of nano zeolite containing di magnets can give good result. Before starting the work better you do a comparative literature survey.
