Recently WBAN has became a very interesting area for the researcher. But can you please tell me, what are the interesting scope in this area? I have searched for WBAN, but there is very few literature on this area.
So, I'm asking from the mathematical and cryptographic point of view: what are the scopes for us in this area?

Also, i would suggest you to read about IoT - Internet of Things, The concept is installing sensors to gather information. myself being an IPv6 researcher and the booming demand of IP addresses in such applications globally , it is my point of interest to know how WBAN medical applications can be deployed and used. HTH.

lot of scopes are there especially in design and development of sensors, tranceivers, antenna design, channel modelling, interference mitigation, development of protocols etc.
From mathematical and cryptographic point of view, methods for secure communications, low complexity cryptography methods, patient authentication using ECG and other medical signals etc. are some of open areas.
