It depends on the audience you are about to teach, what level of knowledge they already have... But still it might be a good place to start, to show a simple example on how it all may work.

If you are teaching in this area you might want to look at some useful software for running experiments in your class: www.moblab.com. If you have wi-fi, students can use mobile devices such as tablets or smart phones as well as PCs.

Also take a look at VeconLab, it´s free and runs nicely on most platforms and browsers:
