Many times it would be advantageous if the ESL teacher knew the native language of most of the students at least to some extent. This would help relate to those students and be more effective. An honest teacher reads in any reference book connected with the subject of his lesson together with the reference books for the methodology, related to them . He also Prepares the various aids , pictures, objects or maps etc. (necessary for his lesson and that can enhance teaching and make it more effective . Then writes his preparation for each subject in a separate note- book. (Beginning class on time) to give a comfortable environment hat suites the learners' ages and abilities.
