As I continue working with problems in the domains of optimization, modeling, and machine learning, I find myself spending a lot of time browsing the web for instructions about techniques and methods suiting my applications (e.g. how to build a deep learning ANN, how to solve a MDP, how dynamic programming works, etc.). I prefer to just have good physical references for the fields of "Operations Research" and "Machine Learning". Can you recommend me one really good sort of handbook/ textbook for each field? Although not necessary, but it would be great if the books utilize either Python, Matlab/Octave, or R
I bought the Python Machine Learning: Machine Learning and Deep Learning with Python, scikit-learn, and TensorFlow, 2nd Edition by Sebastian Raschka, it seems good for practical application in machine learning via python and cheaper than the deep learning book.
The book "Python Machine Learning" by Sebastian Raschka is very good to have. It covers almost all concepts of machine learning. Softcopy of this book is attached here.
For Operations Research I would suggest to go for "Operations Research -An Introduction" by Hamdy A Taha.
