We have heard about so many devices with different structures, while most of fabrication processes still depends on CMOS technology with very small modifications.
I want to know if there are other devices coming strongly to the industry with better performance.
The latest device on which research is going on widely is Spin Transistor which works on magnetic spin resonance. Hello Mohamed there are many parallel technologies on which people are working on as alternates to CMOS. The possibly most popular, new idea is using carbon nanotubes as transistors (CNFETs) . This concept it very appealing because it is still a transistor and could make use of all the architectural knowledge developed forCMOS. Are there in processes in industry for Spin Transistor or Carbon Nano Tubes?
I have heard about these technologies before and I had worked with single electron transistor and Quantum-dot FETs and I amworking now with Memristors, while there technologies are still far away from industry. I just wanna know which technology are coming to be the next technology.
No currently CNFETs are not in the industry but possibly because of their advantages like ballistic or near-ballistic carrier transport, high mobility and current carrying capacity they can be used in the near future as interconnects. Also since the threshold value of CNFETs can be changed with the applied voltage Multi valued logic circuits can be effectively designed using CNFETs at nano scale.The given attachment shows designing ternary logic circuits using CNFETs.

There is FinFET now in the industry like 22nm Intel FinFET. it is a 3D transistors and this technology was available since 2011.
Another technology used to build electronic devices is SOI (Silicon on Insultor). Silicon on insulator (SOI) technology refers to the use of a layered silicon-insulator-silicon substrate in place of conventional silicon substrates in semiconductor manufacturing, especially microelectronics, to reduce parasitic device capacitance, thereby improving performance.

When you say CMOS, you are referring to a technology that uses COMPLEMENTARY MOS transistors, like, NMOS and PMOS. I assume that, your question is : "What other IC technologies are out there ? "
If this is the case, the next big category is BiCMOS. A lot of the Analog circuitry is made out of BiCMOS, due to the favorable features built into the BJT transistors (Bipolar Junction Transistor - the "Bi" part of BiCMOS). There are still plenty of IC's offered from Specialty Analog IC manufacturers, such as, Analog Devices, Maxim Integrated Circuits, TI, ... Also, BiCMOS works well for high-speed RF ICs. However, BiCMOS technologies usually use much less advanced technology nodes, such as, 0.18 um. This is because, the point of these ICs is not necessarily the ability to work at GHz speeds, but, rather, build ICs that have favorable analog circuit characteristics.
FINFET is also a CMOS technology. Only the architecture of the n-MOS and p-MOS is modified. Like Dr. Tolga Soyata, BiCMOS is an interesting alternative to CMOS technology.
I think that now the most widely used in the market, with descending order are:
1. CMOS
2. SiGe
3. SOI
4. FINFET
My opinion is that the most promising to be the next widely used in the near future is FINFET.

Recently Organic FETs are giving promising characterstics and life time also, so we can use these materials
Although I'm not sure, I don't think single electron transistor is already used in products. It's mostly in research stage...not a reliable and mature technology to be used in mass production industry yet.
