I think that everyone practiced many activities. What is required here is the most prominent scientific activities such as writing a research or writing a book. What are the most important researches that I wrote?
While the COVID-19 pandemic was a major challenge for many people around the globe, at the same time it was blessing in disguise for researchers and busy clinicians who got time to catch up on reading and complete the research work.
I was able to utilize this time very well.
1. I kept on attending the patients while observing precautions but the number of patients reduced drastically so I had a lot of time at my disposal.
2. I completed a couple of short online courses and now about to finish a MOOC on Coursera.
3. I collaborated with 9 different colleagues in 3 different countries to publish 4 manuscripts on COVID-19 so far and 5 more are under review.
4. I completed the pending manuscripts which were lying dormant in my laptop for more than 6 months.
5. I am reading books and enjoying time with my family
Because my job, in addition to teaching, focuses on helping early childhood intervention professionals work with families using family-centered practices, this new situation has allowed me to share a lot of resources with professionals about tele-practice using family-centered practices (so families can intervine with their children with disabilities at home).
In addition, I wrote and submitted a paper during this time and created a youtube channel with scientific content to help professionals during this difficult times.
I also designed and wrote a new project we'll send to the IRB office soon.
All this combined with online teaching, advising 10 final projects, and continued zoom meetings and presentations...
During this period, I have read many books relating to early childhood education and early language and literacy. I have written one article for International journal publication. I have also analysed the preschool curriculum of my state. Really, this period has been quite useful for me.
During the current home quarantine, I wrote a scientific article in which I concluded the comparative analysis of the current economic crisis caused by the SARS-CoV-2 Coronavirus pandemic (causing Covid-19 disease) and the 2008 global financial crisis. In the comparative analysis I took into account the nature of different sources of both crises, their different nature and partly analogous instruments of anti-crisis, interventionist socio-economic policies, including budgetary, fiscal and monetary ones.
Very beautiful, nice ideas and various activities that benefited everyone, the important thing is that you know how to organize and invest your time with something useful instead of living in a vacuum and laziness
