What are the Mathematics of big data in the energy sector?

I need papers with mathematical equations that employ big data in predicting the energy consumption.

Look at time series forecasting/prediction papers (ARMA, ARIMA, etc., change point detection, also LSTM, RNN more recently) for readouts from electric meters and other measurement devices, as well as detecting anomalies.
