Dear Dr. Arvind Singh
Thank you very much for sending valuable information. Further I want to know, what special measures we can take to have high productivity of pulses?
The following measures can be taken to increase the production of pulses in India.
1. By strengthening the irrigation system
2. By giving subsidies to the farmers for pulse production
3. By increasing the minimum support price of pulses
4. By developing high yielding, short duration, and disease and pest resistance varieties of pulses
5. By increasing the area under pulse cultivation
