What are the main precautions as well as steps to be taken/followed when doing functionalization of MWNTs ???

Someone are using Round Bottom Glass / Beaker &, oil / water bath for functionalization.....

Can anyone get me out from this.....

functionalization of MWCNT is the important step to develop functionalities on the graphene type plain surface of CNTs its mainly involves oxidation of the CNTs. u can first check the stabililty of u cnts in TG analysis. then go for functionalization

it requires high temperature so u can use the oil bath at 120-140 C

and time for which u r carrying the process u

have to check in slots the IR spectra and raman for the peaks of the groups
