1) Gather enough samples - around 100 children from single parents after obtaining their consent

2) ask children to fill in a survey or form that accesses quality of life / psychological status / emotional well-being

3) evaluate the data using tests such as Pearson's test, t test and etc whichever appropriate.

4) draw your conclusion.

yes, but first i need to decide dimensions of my research. either i go for some qualitative data gathering first or i just use standard child poverty measures and add a dimension of current pandemic.
