I believe that there is no direct, strict correlation in this matter, because the RG score is made up of many factors. The algorithm generating the RG score is complex, it includes many determinants, areas of scientific activity and in this way it is a highly objective result. However, if you are asking about the assessment of the quality of your scientific activity, the number of citations of scientific publications is one of the most important indicators in this respect. On the other hand, each point system will never be perfect, because the quality of scientific activity, including the quality of scientific research and scientific publications containing the results of these research is mainly non-quantifiable, non-quantitative, only of a qualitative nature. In addition, research conducted in various fields of knowledge and science are often not comparable because they sometimes relate to a completely different nature of knowledge. One field of knowledge and science is more of a quantitative nature, others more qualitative. Some generate implementation possibilities, such as in technical and technological sciences, while others, more humanistic or artistic ones, generate added values for learning and people's lives in a completely different way. Therefore, even the same RG point score but for other fields of science does not necessarily mean the same assessment, because specific fields of knowledge may not be comparable. However, there is a need to build and improve the system of evaluation of scientific achievements and scientific activity according to a specific formula and with the consideration of specific determinants. It seems to me that the Research Gate portal does it very well.

Google Scholar counts citation, while Scopus is the main database for the indexation of scientific publications recognized by many science centers and universities in different countries. There are many other indexing databases but usually specialized for specific types of scientific publications and specific types of additional information about the authors of these publications. In my opinion, recruiting colleagues to a research team via a social media portal like Facebook is possible but probably rarely used. Facebook or other popular social media portals, like LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Tweeter, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, Snapchat, Pinterest, etc., are not sites tailored to the needs of researchers. Apparently, internet technology companies that manage the largest social media portals, such as Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Tweeter, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, Snapchat, etc., plan to undertake research and implementation work or implement these works to implement specific technologies for social media portals artificial intelligence. Perhaps, when these social media portals will be improved accordingly, when artificial intelligence will be implemented in these social media portals, it will become more friendly to scientists.

However, at the moment, social media portals such as Facebook, LinkedIn, WhatsApp, Tweeter, YouTube, Instagram, Google+, Snapchat, Pinterest etc. can be used to recruit colleagues to the research team. First and foremost, it should be in a network of contacts, so-called friends on these websites have scientists and researchers.
