Holography came up with a wide hope of advancement in information technology and the one I find it is highly applicable is data storage systems. Although a number of ideas have already presented and experimented in this field, there is a new concept of using optical angular momentum(OAM) modes in storing holographic data that would be a good candidate in storage device technology. The question is how much this new technology be robust with the OAM higher modes(L>3)?
