US also wanted to patent it (but no natural stuff cannot be patented)

Tulsi or holy basil (may be I do not know !!!)

I know many plants which can kill bacteria by their extracts which include neem.But I do not know name of any plant which can consume bacteria!

Interesting question. Plants consuming bacteria!!!

The article is related with killing or hampering of multiplication of some bacteria, not consumption of bacteria!
