If you are talking about land surveying you would need to do a search in an occupational medicine database for studies. Land surveyors are injured frequently as they have to move through a lot of rugged terrain and through dense and prickly vegetation. Cuts, scrapes, infections, sprains and strains would all be common. Since they have to cut the vegetation to clear sight lines, they can also be injured by their cutting tools.
