I'm characterizing Polymer and Elastomer, Now I need to evaluate the data for the FTIR mapping with software. Is there any open source FTIR data analyzer
VibSpec: Within VibSpec the program IRIS (Infrared and Raman Interpretation Support) is developed. (After installing the software and registering via email the program can be used 10 days for free):https://www.vibspec.com/html/software_eng.html
Generally the FTIR imaging manufacturers provide the data processing software. e.g., the OMNIC Atlus of Thermo Fisher, the OPUS of Brucker, etc.
The advanced Chemometric methods for treating Mapping data can be found elsewhere. MCR-ALS GUI 2.0, developed by R. Tauler and Anna de Juan (Department of Analytical Chemistry, University of Barcelona, Spain), is a free software for processing hyperspectral imaging data, you can download it from the website of their group. However, this software can only run in Matlab.
You can use eFTIR https://www.essentialftir.com/ for the 30 day trial. If you are a member of the Society for Applied Spectroscopy you can get a significant discount on the software if you decide to purchase it. This software is a terrific alternative to GRAMS (which costs too much IMO)
Another possibility is Orange https://orange.biolab.si/ a data mining and analysis software package (it is free) I have been VERY impressed by the ability to handle spectroscopic data.
