The question should preferably be a bit more specific. HEP performance analysis can be in different contexts - civil, power generation, control, environmental, economic, etc.

What exactly are you looking for ??

Performance means Operational Performance or Power Generation Efficiency.

Actually I am looking for the methods which are used to estimate the Operating Performance Efficiency of a Hydro Power Plant.

Performance of hydro power plants can be evaluated using reliability analysis both at the components levels and the system-level.

You'll need to use reliability models like Weibull distribution or the exponential distribution to predict the system-level reliability as a function of operating hours of the power plant.
