We have not been successful in identifying references that report the equilibrium vacancy concentrations in LIQUID magnesium, nickel, titanium and iron. We did find studies on liquid aluminum.

I think that it makes no sense to talk about the equilibrium vacancy concentration in a liquid. (In the clasical concept of a vacancy as the absence of an atom in a position of the crystalline lattice). For a metallic liquid this concept should be changed fo a more general concept of mean-free volume or similar, like in the amorphous materials. But I consider that it is not allowed to talk about equilibrium concentration of vacancies when such defects have not a well defined entity, as it is the case of a liquid..
