There are lot of enzymes and different methodologies were used to treat the micro-algal biomass to improve biogas production. However, we need which enzymes and methodology gives good results at laboratory.
You can use methods shown by Eldalatony, et al. (2016).

Electrophysical actions (DC and AC-induced electric field, magnetic filed of low frequences) were proved to facilitate microalgal biomass growth, therefore the volatile solids VS in the microalgal biomass. Since microalgal methane potential is in range of 150-450 liter CH4/kg VS, such pre-treatment could improve the biogas yield.
