What are the differences between modeling a building with the RBS connection in OpenSees and SAP2000?

In fact, for a model of a building with the RBS connection in OpenSees ( Lumped or Distributed plasticity) which I want to check its performance with pushover or nonlinear dynamic analysis I need primery design for beam and column sections. Is modeling the primary structure and designing it in SAP2000 without the RBS connection correct?

Is it enough to consider the RBS connection effect in results like the drift control?
