Since cure is the second best solution, prevention seems to be more essential. The solution is likely related to lifestyle. There is a massive body of literature that looks at the effects of lifestyle on health. Heart disease are a pretty good example. Many studies suggest that physical activity and exercise prevents many heart conditions. The Harvard Alumni study shows very clear evidence.
