We receive hunderds of emails asking us to participate in conferences. How can we check if a conference is indexed or have a high academic stand?
A conference organized by a university or genuine and reputable organization would have some assurance of quality. Many conferences are currently organised by "conference mills" organizers that have no reputable credentials. Perhaps it would be wise to check who is a conference organizer(s).

I think from a personal perspective, a good conference is one where abuse is called out and there are policies and measures in place to make those who are abusive accountable for their actions. Conferences where abuse is often reported but not acted upon should be avoided.
