What are the best ways to perform BIAS Correction on Hourly model outputs?

I am trying to BIAS correct Precipitation and Temperature data using some observations(GPM) and reanalysis(MERRA2) datasets. For now I have applied linear regression for the correction of model outputs at an hourly rate, but the results are not convincing in case of Rainfall.

I want to know if there any other better way to perform BIAS corrections on hourly datasets or If any other parameters I can include such as Cloud cover and Temperature in top layers for getting better rainfall prediction.
