Learn how to make better use of your time, because most of the stress is caused by increased workloads. To be flexible and workable, list your daily goals according to their priorities. Write off your completed tasks because it gives you the feeling that you have accomplished something.
When you are in stress your access to your own cognitive resources get limited. Meaning, your ability to remember even the known simple ways to cope stress is limited. Hence, at the very basic level, do something to your body positively (eating, drinking water, walking., etc ) that brings balance in the chemicals of body. When the chemicals are balanced in the body you may find little more space in your mind to find ways to cope with the stress. Again, what helps one may not help the other. Therefore, one has to find what helps him or her and then do it.
