Please tell me your views, regarding research collaboration. What is the significance of sharing our ideas with other peers? Why we could prefer and opt to co-author an article ? What are the pros and cons of collaborative research ?

For me, collaboration and shared authorship has a number of nice and useful characteristics:
- It is a way to learn from other researchers, both in the research work and in the writing - and feel that they learn other things from me, and we learn and discuss together.
- It is a way to get things done. If we form a research and writing team, all usually make their contributions following some kind of floating and interactive plan when all must contribute in time (or almost...) in the work. When working with a research article alone@, it is much easier to procrastinate and simply put the project to rest.
- It is a way to share experiences with others, both hard work and joy over completion, submission and publication.

Research collaboration and shared authorship is linked to the globalization and the internationalization of research. Experiences say that cooperation does not always have the equal contribution of all participants. Or, different people see and evaluate the characteristics of cooperation in different ways. Of course, cooperation has its good and less good qualities. The term 'good' and the term of less good are of a moral nature and are matter of human estimates and their orientations.
