I am currently working with a residential aged care facility to investigate the use of tablet devices (ie. iPads) with older residents, with a range of health, frailty, mobility, mild cognitive issues and dementia. Any ideas on similar projects, articles, papers etc on this topic which might be useful?

Here is a toolkit for ICT activities to use with people with dementia in care settings, as well as a report on the research that was done prior to developing the toolkit.

I realise I am a year late (!) but just came across your question. I am currently working with care homes in SW England where we are starting to trial a 'tablet on wheels' to allow people to Skype to their families.
