If I understood your question correctly, I think you are talking about student traits that the teacher should consider while teaching to reach each and every single student. Learner style (dependent vs. independent; embroidering vs. skeletonizing; etc.) is one aspect;
The learning types (auditory, visual, kinaesthetic) are a second aspect to consider; Bloom's taxonomy of thinking skills: knowledge, comprehension, application, analysis, synthesis, evaluation) is a third aspect; last but not least is the Multiple Intelligence theory (Logical mathematical, verbal, natural, spatial, musical, interpersonal, intra-personal, etc.).
