What are the acceleration and speed criteria for aggressive motorcycle driving?
Depending on what is your definition of aggressive, I think the acceleration has more weight than the speed for aggressive motorcycle driving. In here, aggressiveness has something to do with behavior of passing through narrow space between cars and sudden or sharp overtaking behavior that is common in countries where the number of motorcycles are more than a half of the number of vehicles.
You can easily calculate mean acceleration from 0-100 kph time. For example the fastest accelerating motorcycle in serial production is Suzuki GSX-R1000 (reffered to http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_fastest_production_motorcycles_by_acceleration). It accelerates from 0 - 100 kph in 2.35 seconds - that means that average acceleration is about 1,20 g. Accept if you need acceleration data of vibrations that come from the engine, gearbox and road. These are then much higher and according to my experience can achieve more than 1000 m/s^2 (not directly on rider's body). Is this helpful for you?
Many thanks for reply. But I am looking for the definition or values of acceleration (like 0.98m per sec square or like that. What values is approprirate to be called for aggressive acceleration or normal acceleration or calm acceleration when driving in urban area specially
I think there can not be any universal values. An aggressive acceleration for a small 125cc will be a very quiet acceleration for my KTM 990 SMT :) But this 125cc can still be driven in an aggressive way ... So it of course depends on the motorcycle power to weight ratio, but also on the engaged gear : 0.1g won't be aggressive on the first gear, but may be hard to obtain on the 6th gear ...
@Simon : are you sure you can get an avg acceleration of more than 4 g ? :)
