In the NIger Delta I have looked at the diets of Terebellids and Sabellids from Bonny River by measuring their diet on a point scale. Bonny River does not experience freshwater inflow and so large scale sediments from freshwater during the rainy season is recorded not to have any effect on sediment inflow and deposition. No differences were observed in the particle sizes in relation to season but rather in relation to how sheltered or exposed the site was to marine transport from local and international marine vessels.
