In the case of Sun Hemp as will as Mucuna these crops can be used for nematode control.
Because of the long period of growth not only is N fixation of more potential but the biomass accumulation can be too. The tropical environment can allow ability to produce multiple crops within the same planting seasons.
High rainfall and temperatures can be challenging for rampant weed, insect and disease development. Conserving accumulated Carbon and Nitrogen can be an problem because of rapid decay patterns. The high solarization can be used for solarization as a pest and weed control method. Many of the humid tropical soils are acid infertile with a lack of sufficient minerals, acidity and toxicity issues.
High temperatures and solarization can hamper the ability of animals to maintain good health.
