Can anyone suggest a suitable porous support for fluorinated polymers? I would like to cast a membrane on the support using phase inversion technique. Any suggestions will be appreciated....
common solvents like DMAc, DCM, THF,... can dissolve many polymers. so your support polymer cannot be a common polymer ( such as PES, PVDF, PVA, PI, PEBA,...).
my suggestion is to change the solvent of top layer polymer. you can use non-polar solvents (n-heptane) or aromatic polar solvents (toluene).
