Hi Azlin, To examine the dispersion quality of nanosized filler in the polymer matrix , I think it is analog to know how well the filler is distributed in polymer matrix. So other tools can help you to understand it are FTIR, MTDSC (modulated temperature differential scanning Calorimeter), AFM (Atomic Force Microscopy), and WAXRD. I hope it can aid you.

Thank you very much Rudy..Yes, we did FTIR also..Maybe we can follow your suggestion by using MTDSC and AFM as well afterwards...if you have papers related to characterization of polymer nanocomposites by MTDSC and AFM, please share with me. So far I just familiar with the ordinary DSC, but not MTDSC.

I think you can support your data with Dynamic Light Scattering  (DLS) if your polymer  is a transparent liquid.

To whom it may concern..I'm also looking for serious collaboration in nanotechnology field..currently I'm doing research on polymer nanocomposites containing nanoclay and nanocellulose..however, we have lack of equipment for nano-characterization. I'm really need assistance in TEM imaging and knowledge sharing in this field. My target is to produce quality research and papers from this collaboration. We will share / co-author any publications derived from this collaboration.

A simple way to characterize the nanofiller dispersion within a polymeric matrix is through Raman spectroscopy.

I think you can try SAXS (small angle x-ray scattering). The log -log plot can suggests you a poer law which can yeild information about nano particles dispersion, aggragation, agglomeration and clustering  etc. 

I think a very simple method by using turbidimeter can also be tried to be employed. Using the turbidimeter, even you can determine quantitatively the amount of nano filler particles through a standard curve.

This question is not clear. You should clear your filler and polymer, but I think you can study about thermal analysis. Maybe it is good for checking the presence of  filler.

Sorry to hear it. I spent few years on building well dispersed nanocomposites based on polyurethane (and resins) and nanoclay from Nanocor. Thinking about past, I still do not see simplest and faster way than AFM analysis :(.
