More and more companies think of using Big Data technologies. However, there is little practical experience about usage scenarios where the technology adds real business value. Does anybody know about new business models or scenarios that are enabled mainly based on Big Data technologies, like e.g. HANA from SAP?
Are WalMart, Google, Twitter, fb, and amazon too old to be considered new businesses?
