Encryption is a very traditional process. You can go for information hiding. You can also apply both. If you hide the encrypted password in a signal and send that to the wireless device, you will be able to authenticate securely. The terminal device will decrypt the password after extracting it from the carrier signal.

I believe our project could be adapted for 3FA machine-to-machine operation, as long as there was a fairly smart client at the sensor end.
