In nanoparticles formation , why only d- block elements involve , can we use s and p block elements as effectively as d - block elements? like carbon nnaotubes made up of carbon atoms ,do they do not need stabilizer?

Not only d-block elements, p-block elements like Al, Si, Ga, In also form nanoparticles in different conditions.

Generally, transition elements can form nanoparticles they called as metal organic frameworks (MOFs) wherein a suitable metal ion is reacted with organic linker to form supra molecular arrangement of the metal ion and ligand.
Many elements such as Cu, Ag, Fe, Ni, Ti, Al, Zn, Zr, Co etc can form nanoparticles.
