Dear all,

I am looking for literature to prove that the questions used in a questionnaire to measure job satisfaction and employee motivation do not necessarily have to be based on a standardised questionnaire, but that the questions can also be derived from the literature review.

Does anyone know of any literature where the selection of questions/ items to measure job satisfaction and/or employee motivation was based on the authors' choice from the literature review?

KR, Thomas
