I’m currently involved in a research project that is related to Highly Integrative Questions (HIQ’s).
To define the landscape of those "next level client questions" we initiated a research:
How to define HIQ’s?
How to approach HIQ's?
What are cases that relate to HIQ’s?
How can we learn from those cases?
What kind of guidance and facilitation are needed in the process?
Some buzzwords: Complexity Theory, Integrative Thinking, Social Innovations
i am curious, is integrative thinking defined in philosophy as a fundamental reasoning type like deductive or inductive reasoning? if not (i personally doubt), what reasoning types does it build on? (i suppose abductive reasoning)
Since the world is running behind automation, all are in the process of new products and new thoughts.

Understanding Highly integrative Questions and complex system as prerequisite for innovating new services and products! I'm facinated by the Cynefin framework, because it shows different levels on how to approach innovations with systematic lenses...
@Brian I'm not really into deductive and inductive reasoning.
Integrative thinking in simple words is making an synthesis of A and B. It requires an ability of tension thinking for the synthesis. A good example can be found at the emergence of the Linux compay “Red Hat” and the thinking of their CEO Bob Young. It is also worth it to look at the work from Roger Martin.
